The Baltimore International Seafarers' Center is an inter-faith ministry rooted in the tradition of Christian hospitality. We believe in the unconditional love of God for all people, and we demonstrate this love through our commitment to serving the personal and spiritual needs of seafarers in the Port of Baltimore.
We accomplish this purpose by:
- Respecting the values, faiths, and cultural norms of seafarers and their families.
- Coordinating ship visitations and delivery of services.
- Publicizing the contributions of seafarers to our lives and economy.
- Raising awareness in the community about the rights and needs of seafarers.
Welcoming and training qualified volunteers and staff on an equal opportunity basis.
