In her April17, 2012 article in WorkBoat.com, Kathy Bergen Smith describes how the TWIC regulations have intensified the role volunteers serve in escorting seafarers at the Port of Baltimore's terminals.

The Baltimore International Seafarers' Center is an inter-faith ministry rooted in the tradition of Christian hospitality.
